Olaf

Olaf is an adorable rabbit whose been through a tough time in his young life.

Olaf was abandoned outside on a very cold night when the temperatures dropped below 30 degrees.  As a result poor Olaf got frostbite and his ears fell off. He is a Holland Lop but he no long has his beautiful ears because of someone’s horrible abandonment and neglect. Did you know its a felony to abandon animal? Domestic rabbits cannot care for themselves outside.

Olaf is a very friendly rabbit who only wants to be loved. We thought we found a perfect home for him but sadly that person failed Olaf. Instead of returning him to us they listed him on Craigslist. Our contract states that if for any reason an adopter can’t keep the rabbit adopted from us, that they will return the rabbit to us and will NOT try to find a home or take the rabbit to the shelter. Fortunately, we have volunteers that watch craigslist all the time and recognized Olaf right away. We contacted the adopter and through several days of waiting for them to make contact with us, we finally had Olaf safe back in our arms.

Olaf is currently in foster care receiving lots of TLC. Olaf can only go to a home with someone who has years of experience with rabbits as indoor pets.
