Girl Scouts Educate on Rabbit Care to Earn Silver Award

Two Folsom Trails Girl Scouts are completing their Silver Award project by hosting a badge workshop with Friends of Unwanted Rabbits (FUR) for younger Girl Scouts. The girls will be making blankets to be donated to FUR among other activities. The goal of the project is to raise awareness about adopting from FUR and to educate the girls about the responsibilities and long term commitment involved in caring for house rabbits and other pets.
