Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. Before we get started, we just wanted to tell you a little bit about ourselves. We, Friends of Unwanted Rabbits (FUR), are a rescue organization that rehabilitates bunnies who have been abandoned outside, surrendered from their owners, rescued from laboratories, brought to shelters, saved from hoarding cases, and all other kinds of sad circumstances. We are looking for patient, kind, loving, indoor homes for these sweet rabbits. We’ve worked to rehabilitate them and get them through the majority of their trauma as much as possible. We exist as an organization to give these bunnies the opportunity to finally feel safe, protected, loved, and to be able to express themselves to the fullest. Our goal is to help find the right bunny companion(s) for your family.

To meet our goal of ensuring our rescue rabbits find forever, loving families, we screen all interested adopters prior to approving an adoption. Please be patient with us as we are responsible to verify folks understand the commitment and are prepared to make the appropriate accommodations; we want to make sure that a rabbit is the right pet for you. For first time bunny families, we have resources available and are willing to provide guidance when needed.
